Christmas in The Canyon
-Luke 2:8 and 12

“A Country Time Christmas”
Thank you for making Christmas in the Canyon a part of your Christmas tradition!
Thanks to your generosity, last year’s event helped raise $17, 930 for GRACE Camp!
Words cannot express how grateful we are to all that came out and supported last year’s event!
Tickets to Christmas in the Canyon include entrance to the event and a full three-course meal prepared by Food Service Manager Sarah Neatherlin.
For tickets to attend this year’s event, please contact Jeff Robinson at 325-846-4212 or Jeff@butmancamp.org
Christmas in the Canyon is a fun, Christmas-themed and Christ-centered dinner and silent auction event that Butman Camp uses to raise funds in support of the camping ministry for the coming year. We believe strongly in the mission that we have been called to serve in here at Butman.
We will again be offering our Coffee in the Canyon, a special coffeehouse presented for our volunteers and friends that have helped us throughout the year! Last year’s event was a big success and a lot of fun, and we hope to continue to build on that fun this year.
Our fundraising goal for 2019 is $25,000!
We know that it is a lofty goal, but we believe that with your help and the help of many generous businesses and individuals we can exceed our goals again!
Part of the funds from the event will go towards Butman Camp’s General Scholarship Fund, which ultimately is for the common goal of getting campers to camp and finding Jesus. The other portion of the funds raised will go to much needed renovations to better take care of campers and guest.
Testimony
"Camp Butman means a whole lot more than just a Christian Camp to send our kids to in the summer. It is where Christ lives and dwells and can be found." ~Mid-Hi Camper's mom
"[One camper] was angry with God, but still wanted to draw close to him. She said she also felt the presence of God in a tangible way at camp, especially during the last night of worship. She said she had never felt that way before. The presence of God was so strong and heavy that she couldn't stand up. She re-committed her life to God that night."~Senior-Hi Camp Director
"Every night worship was just awesome. You could really feel the Spirit moving. Wed. night was probably one the best nights of my life. We sang the song "Madly in Love with You," and in one part of the song it goes 'Let what we do in here fill the streets out there...' It was that moment that I knew that God really wanted to use me to share Jesus with people who are lost. We had a call to ministry that night and I accepted." ~Senior-Hi Camper
"Camp Butman has been a part of my life since I was 15 years old. I have had the privilege of seeing lives changed there in that time. I have also seen God do great things in my life in that time as well. He has blessed me through the ministries of this camp ground as both a counselor (or "adult volunteer") and a camp director as well. The fact that there is a place that exists to see lives changed is an awesome thing and God has done great things through the people there."~Former Camp Director
